InPro Corporation is dedicated to increasing the sustainability of buildings by providing highly functional architectural products while also minimizing the impact of our products on the environment.
We are also committed to being responsible stewards of our environment in our dealings with customers, employees, government entities and our community neighbors – all with an eye toward our obligation to future generations.
In addition, InPro will conduct its manufacturing and business operations to
- use recycling in our operations
- prevent pollution at the source
- use care in disposing of unneeded materials
- responsibly use and conserve energy and raw materials
Environmental Highlights
- Our Door and Wall rigid PVC products do not use plasticizers so there is no off-gassing.
- Our adhesives have zero or a low percentage of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) that exceed the VOC standards set by the State of California – the most stringent in the nation.
- Since 1988, we have used substantial post-consumer and post-industrial plastics in our manufacturing process.
- Our EnviroGT™ line of handrails, corner guards and wall guards uses 100% post-industrial recycled high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified wood. EnviroGT was named one of the 10 Best Green Building products in 2003 by BuildingGreen. Use of EnviroGT products is eligible for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) credit consideration by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) [Materials & Resources, Credit 4 – Recycled Content; Materials & Resources Credit 7 Certified Wood].
- We operate a Vinyl Recycling Program that offers credit toward purchasers of new materials when customers return old vinyl products.
- Our Nu-Tree™ line of wall guards, sheet material and corner guards generally contains over 90% recycled High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) material.
- Our stainless steel products us 80 percent post-industrial recycled content, which exceeds the USGBC standard by 30 percent.
