Sugar Land Fire Department employs 103 professional firefighters operating from 7 fire stations serving 85,000 residents in the community just east of Houston.
A new, one-story, 14,600 sq. ft. fire station includes living quarters, sleeping quarters, kitchen/dining facilities, a dayroom, a training room, offices, a utility room, a treatment room, a dispatch/report and a communications room.
SignScape® provided 1/8" thick interior & exterior photopolymer signage with a custom Sugar Land vinyl decal applied to the face. In addition to photopolymer signage, SignScape supplied a 33"H x 18"W cast-bronze plaque, as well as cast-aluminum dimensional letters with an anodized dark bronze finish. An LED-backlit 26" fabricated steel “7” for the station number was created for the exterior and rounded out the signage installation.
