MILWAUKEE, WIS. – Muskego-based Inpro Corporation has been named a 2016 Business Friend of the Environment by Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce.  Inpro had previously been honored as a Business Friend in 2014.

A total of nine companies were chosen from 32 nominees for this special honor that recognizes significant improvements in the areas of sustainability, environmental stewardship and environmental innovation. A critical goal of environmentally conscious companies is to achieve “the triple bottom line,” which benefits people, planet and profit.

The Business Friend award program is in its 27^th year, and honors programs that demonstrate an innovative approach to environmental protection, or a level of effort that surpasses mere regulatory compliance. The goal of the program is to raise up the winners for their ongoing sustainability commitment and environmental stewardship, and as examples for industry.  These success stories reflect continued commitment of Wisconsin industry to environmental protection.
