Inpro acquires Illinois-based Everything Division 12 commercial window treatments company

Tuesday, March 16, 2021

MILWAUKEE, March 16, 2021 ̶ Inpro Corporation, a global provider of architectural products, announced today the acquisition of Northbrook, Illinois-based window treatment company, Everything Division 12, or ED12. Terms of the acquisition were not revealed. Inpro executives said that ED12’s operations will remain in Northbrook, and all staff will become Inpro employees.

ED12 provides a variety of window treatment solutions, including solar shades, blinds and drapery, specializing in motorized and automated solutions for commercial buildings. The acquisition supports Inpro’s leadership in the commercial interiors industry, and broadens their capabilities in the commercial window treatment business.

Over the past 20 years, Inpro’s commercial window treatment business has grown from a manufacturer and supplier of products, to a full-service operation, including installation and drapery fabrication located in Charlotte, N.C., and Phoenix, Ariz. “To be competitive in the commercial window treatment market, you need the capability to integrate and automate solar shades, a piece of the equation that’s been missing for us until now,” said Marc Holland, president of Inpro. “ED12 brings expertise in engineering shade solutions using cutting edge technology. Their team understands the complexity of the commercial construction industry and has a reputation for outstanding service. They exemplify our obsession with protecting buildings and we are pleased to bring their team on board.”

With ED12 operating mainly in the Midwest, the acquisition serves as a regional resource with potential to expand expertise to other areas of the country. “As shade experts, it has always been our dream to focus on this strength, and we are thrilled to now do that as part of the Inpro family,” said Renee Lallas, President ED12. “We look forward to making our experience available on a widespread level by leveraging Inpro’s vast infrastructure and depth in the healthcare, education and hospitality markets.”
