MILWAUKEE, Wis. (June 19, 2018) — After its recent promotion at NeoCon 2018, Inpro’s IPC® Door and Wall Protection division released Ricochet® Flexible Wall Protection for sale on June 18, 2018.

For architects and interior designers, certain spaces just do not lend themselves to the aesthetic of rigid wall cladding, and that’s where Ricochet is a game changer – it is applied like a textured wall covering but delivers much higher impact resistance.

“To say or think Ricochet is ‘just another VWC’ truly misses the mark,” said Tom Larwa, director of innovation at Inpro. “There’s a deliberate reason we call it Flexible Wall Protection.”

Ricochet is different than traditional wall covering because it incorporates intentional texture, not some sort of printing sleight of hand to give the look of texture, but actual texture in the product. The product is designed to be indistinguishable from contract wallcovering, and with proper professional installation can create a totally seamless appearance.

Ricochet has the aesthetic of wallcovering with the function of traditional wall protection. It is not only able to resist the wear and tear that the walls in commercial buildings receive, but it also fends off stains and graffiti — which can be cleaned, without damage to the Ricochet surface, with agents up to the strongest of standard liquid cleaners.

It installs just like other wallcoverings, so there will be virtually no learning curve for interior installers. With the rollout, Inpro offers Ricochet in 9 patterns, 148 pattern/color combinations. It is available in rolls or as wall panels wrapped in Ricochet for another way to bring visual interest to interiors.
