Q: Does Inpro sell to individuals and homeowners?

A: No.

Q: What is the typical transit time after products leave Inpro?

A: It varies based on your location but will range anywhere from 2 - 5 working days.

Q: Is there special handling when product is delivered?

A: Yes!  A loading dock and a forklift with extended forks are required for handling most of our pallets.

Q: What material is used for Inpro Washroom Systems?

A:  Inpro Washroom Systems are made from our BioPrism® Solid Surface materials, which is a proprietary blend of alumina trihydrate (ATH), specially formulated resin, and decorative fillers and pigments. This material is used in both our shower systems and privacy partitions. Learn more about what is BioPrism® Solid Surface.

Q: What colors are available?

A: We offer a wide range of colors specifically geared toward our commercial markets in 3 color categories:

  • A Colors: Solid pigmented colors (our most popular category).

Shower Walls Questions and Answers:

Q: Do you stock any shower wall panels?

A: We stock Bright White Sheet in 4' x 8' (1.2m x 2.4m) sizes.  Call your Inpro rep for in-stock inventory. View more information on our shower wall panels.

Q: How do you cut the panels for Shower Walls?

A: Our panels can be ordered to specific sizes or easily trimmed in the field with carbide-tipped blades. Just be sure to fully support the panel while it’s being cut.

Learn more about field fabrication by watching our video.

Q: How do you seam the wall panels?

A:

Shower Wall Soft and Hard Seam Options

Soft Seam: Using translucent or color-coordinated silicone to produce a "soft seam" between the panels.  Great for allowing subtle expansion and contraction of the building at inside corners or seams covered with trim.

Hard Seam: A 2-part color coordinated adhesive that is pumped into the seam, allowed to cure and is sanded smooth for an inconspicuous and watertight joint.

Q: What type of adhesive is used to attach shower walls?

A: You can easily install our .25" (25mm) shower panels with 100% silicone.

Q: Do you need waterproofing membranes using solid Surface wall panels?

A: No, in fact some waterproofing membranes may hinder the adhesion of the panels with silicone. Unlike tile and grout, our BioPrism® Solid Surface panels are not designed to weep or leak and do not require an additional layer of water protection, saving you time and money!

Q: What are the standard sizes of solid surface wall panels you offer?

A: BioPrism® Solid Surface is available in .25" (25mm) thick panels at 30" 36" and 48"(762mm, 914mm and 1219mm) widths at 84" 96" 120" and 144" (1.2 – 3.7m) lengths.  We also offer pre-seamed wall panels at up to 61" x 96"(1.6 – 2.4m).5" (50mm) thick material also available in 30" and 36" (762mm and 914mm) widths x 96" (2.4m), 120" (3.1m) and 144" (3.7m) lengths.

Q: Are any special edge treatments available?

A: Our panels are made to order, finished, cut to size and we can even provide finished, beveled or radius edges. Work with our team to complete an easy to follow order form to get exactly what you need!

Q: What's the advantage of asking for a Wavy Edge on panels?

A: In construction projects – be it new construction, major renovation or retrofits – installers may encounter wall conditions that are less than true. Solid surface panels with an s-curve “wavy” edge allows panels to fit together with a flat, flush seam where the wall may fluctuate.

Q: How do shower wall panels fit in the shower base?

A: The panels must fit inside the shower base’s outer flange or "water barrier."

Q: Can wall panels be installed over tile?

A: Yes!  Be sure the tile is cleaned and structurally sound before getting started. Next, the tile surface should be scuffed up with 36-grit sandpaper. Then, the solid surface sheet can be affixed to the tile with 100% silicone adhesive
