Adding Fireline 520 production in Asia speeds up response times
MILWAUKEE, WI – Inpro® Corporation is now manufacturing its Fireline 520® fire barriers for expansion joints in India via its wholly owned subsidiary, InproCorp India, Pvt. Ltd. This marks the first international expansion of Fireline 520 production. Fireline 520 is based in the Buffalo, N.Y., area, and Inpro opened a second production hub in Mesa, Ariz., in June 2015.
The availability of Fireline 520 products from India drastically speeds up delivery times to Asia and the Far East, and underscores Inpro’s obsessive practices of protection for buildings and the people who use them every day.
“We’re pleased to expand our patented Fireline 520 products in Asia,” said Marc Holland, Inpro’s president. “Inpro is also known for our obsessive service, and this expansion gives our customers overseas faster response times and will greatly reduce shipping costs.”
The installation of fire blankets and fire-stop materials in expansion joints protects buildings and reduces occupants’ exposure to smoke and flame, which allows for safer evacuation. Fireline 520 also holds several patents incorporating vapor and water barrier systems to reduce a building’s exposure to the elements.
