General Questions and Answers:

Q: Why should I choose Inpro cab interiors?

A: Our cab panels do not use a laminated edge band. They are fully wrapped with the same rigid vinyl it is faced with, eliminating any delamination from people picking. The beveled edge design of our full wrap panels is made for high impact – think luggage, cleaning carts and hospital gurneys. The same high-impact sheet material is wrapped around the back to help fight warping and make the panel extremely water and moisture resistant.

Q: We're purchasing an entire new elevator cab, do I have to use the manufacturer's cab interior?

A: No. Cab interiors can be purchased through direct contract with other vendors, or via bid. You can choose your own design and products as long as they are within code and meet the cab’s weight rating.

Q: Is your system compatible with our elevator?

A: Yes! We have had our cabs installed on a wide variety of manufacturers and can always find a solution that works with yours. Most hotel cabs are fairly straightforward. In addition, our cabs are Class A fire rated!

Q: What are the lead times for your cabs?

A: Lead time depends on the materials you choose:

  • Standard cabs: ~6 weeks
  • Specialty finishes/images/stainless: ~8–10 weeks
  • Colored/textured metals: up to 16 weeks

Ask your Inpro rep to confirm the lead time when quoting or ordering.

Q: How far does an elevator travel each year?

A: A LOT! According to the National Elevator Industry, Inc., elevators travel 1.36 BILLION miles per year across the U.S. and Canada. That’s more than 2,700 trips to the moon and back. With Inpro’s elevator cabs, we’ll make sure every one of those trips is beautiful.

With our Aspex® Printed Wall Protection, we can also produce entire high-impact wall panels with custom digital images. Another option is to include logos and other brand graphics. Q: What sort of trim options do you provide?

A: Our standard systems come with stainless steel toe kicks (bottom piece), reveals and frieze (the top border). We do not upcharge like most do for these options. Our toe kicks and friezes can also be ventilated to make sure we do not impede any air flow to keep you code compliant. Learn more about the parts of an elevator cab.

Q: Do you offer ceilings and lighting?
