Q: Can you help me understand your lead times?
A: There are two components to cubicle curtain order lead times:
Fabric Ordering and Delivering - We can sew cubicle curtains from virtually any cubicle curtain fabric from a wide variety of vendors. However, we are dependent on the production and delivery schedule of the fabric manufacturers or mills. Depending on the fabric and vendor, it can take several weeks for fabric to arrive at our sew shop. Final delivery to your location could be a month or longer depending on this schedule. Our team stays on top of delivery schedules and communicates with our customers as they learn delivery and production times.
Privacy Curtain Sewing - Once we have the fabric at our sew shop, your cubicle curtain order can be completed in as little as five days and on its way depending on the size of the order. Larger orders may take longer. We do have one of the best sewing operations in the country. Our highly skilled staff produces top-quality curtains and can turn orders a lot faster than average sew shops. Our sewing centers are located in North Carolina and Arizona which gives us flexible shipping options to reduce transit time on your order.
Quick Tip -If you are pressed to get curtain in house quickly, ask your Inpro Representative about In-Stock or Quick Ship Curtains . If you need a particular fabric, pattern or color from a specific manufacturer, please know that it could take quite a bit longer to get your cubicle curtains. Fabrics have a great lead time variability from fabric mill to fabric mill.
Q: What is the price per yard of this fabric?
A: The price will vary based on the type of fabric, who makes it, and the quantity ordered. We use a tiered system to help our customers understand our fabric pricing.
We also have our Shield by Panaz® Cubicle Curtain fabrics that are a higher-priced quality fabric that is antimicrobial, liquid repellent and highly resistant to most stains.
Q: Are your privacy curtain fabrics fire rated?
A: Yes, all fabrics must meet the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 701 Standard.
Q: Do you have antimicrobial fabrics?
A: Yes, our entire line of Shield by Panaz® fabrics incorporate AEGIS® Technology by Microban®. This technology forms a covalent bond with the fabric, providing 24/7 continuous protection, wash after wash. Our Shield fabrics have high liquid and stain repellency and the antimicrobial properties protects the fabric from odor causing bacteria, mold and mildew.
Q: What is the difference between railroaded and vertically seamed fabric?
A: Fabric is designed with an orientation to the pattern or design and that orientation can be sewn in one of two ways:
Railroaded: The pattern runs across the roll. The width of the fabric is used for the length and provides a seamless treatment for unlimited width. Cubicle curtain overall lengths are achieved by adjusting the size of the mesh sewn at the top of the curtain (generally 20"-36"). Railroaded cubicle curtain fabrics are generally 72" wide.
Vertically Seamed: The vertical pattern repeat is oriented up and down the roll. Multiple widths of fabric are sewn together to create the width required. Length is unlimited. Cubicle curtain fabrics are generally 54" or 72" wide on vertically seamed patterns.

Note: Some patterns like Array above can be sewn either Railroaded or Vertically Seamed depending on the visual appearance desired.
Q: What are your standard sizes?
A: We currently do not have standard sizes of cubicle curtains that we sew. Our curtains are custom made to your specifications and are made to fit the space and purpose you're buying them for. We take pride in working with you to create beautiful and functional privacy curtains. One of the main reasons sizing can be different is the different track configurations. You may have some rooms that require a "U-Shaped" track and other rooms that require a straight line of curtains. Below are a few examples of how cubicle curtain track can be installed.
Depending on the layout of the track, how close the curtains need to be to the floor and a variety of other variables, we work with you to ensure your order fits the exact measurements for each room. If you need something that is more standard, we do have in-stock and disposable curtains in limited fabrics and colors.
Q: Is there a standard height for privacy curtains?
A: There is not a standard height for curtains. It depends on the ceiling height and how far off the floor the curtain will hang Above Finished Floor (AFF). Typical cubicle curtains hang 12" - 15" AFF and shower curtains are 1/2" AFF.

Q: When would I use a Ball and Chain carrier versus a Spool carrier?
